This post is basically a series of pictures of a skirt I resurrected from the "What did I do wrong" pile. I was going through my craft closet and came across this pattern with the fabric cut. Based on the copyright, I did this about 3 years ago. I don't recall anything about this project. I do recognize the fabric, but that is it. The pattern doesn't appear to be in distribution any more.
The problem, and probably why I didn't finish the project, is the pieces where cut wrong. Nothing fit correctly. I fudged it and came up with this. So, it isn't McCall's 5631 truly but a knock-off version.
It does fit nicely and I like the linen blend. One of my favorite things about this skirt is the hem. It has no hem! The salvage was in such good shape, I left it as it is. I did use a french seam for the sides though, just to make it nice at the end of the skirt.
