Last spring, the weather was beginning to warm and I was tired of wearing my thread barren university hoodie. Out of boredom, I jumped into the car and headed to the fabric shop to see if any jacket pattern would spark a fancy, and behold Simplicity 4032 emerged with five variations---and one caught my eye. Pattern in tow, I headed to the fleece section and instantly found a double face light blue fabric; my favorite color.

Since raveling is not an issue with fleece, this jacket was an ease to make. I suffered from no bouts of grumpiness, fits of frustration, or disinterest. Besides dropping the part of the directions that entailed buttons, I followed them exactly, even double top-stitching where shown. The only complaint that I have, and in no means is this a deal breaking issue, is the breast section is not as tailored as I would prefer. No biggie, though!
